Partnerships

Payment partnerships in Mozambique

We work with agencies, software vendors, marketplaces and international payment companies that need a dependable way to move money inside Mozambique. Partnering means using our local rails instead of building your own.

Payment partnerships in Mozambique

Who partners with us

Four profiles account for most of our partner conversations.

  • Software vendors and agencies embedding payments into products they already sell to Mozambican clients.
  • Marketplaces and platforms that onboard many local sellers and need split collections and payouts.
  • International PSPs and aggregators that want Mozambique coverage without a local build.
  • NGOs, operators and enterprises that need recurring local collections or disbursements.

Partnership models

We keep the commercial structure simple and written down before anyone integrates.

  • Referral — you introduce merchants, we onboard and support them, and you earn on the volume you bring.
  • Reseller — you own the client relationship and pricing, we provide the processing layer behind it.
  • Technology — you integrate our API into your product so payments appear as a native feature.
  • Platform — you operate a marketplace and we handle collections from buyers and payouts to sellers.

What you get from the local side

The point of a local partner is removing the parts that are slow to solve from outside the country: mobile wallet coverage across M-Pesa, e-Mola and mKesh, card acceptance with 3-D Secure, settlement in Meticais, merchant verification, and support that answers in Portuguese during Maputo business hours.

Commercials

Standard processing is a single 10% fee per transaction with no monthly charge, no setup fee and no maintenance fee. Partner and volume-based arrangements are agreed case by case and always in writing, including settlement timing, responsibilities for disputes and the exit terms.

How a partnership starts

First a short call to understand your flows and volumes. Then a written scope and commercial terms. Then sandbox access so your team can integrate and test every scenario. Go-live happens after merchant verification and a small real transaction, not before.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with companies based outside Mozambique?
Yes. Most partnership enquiries come from companies that sell to or operate in Mozambique but are incorporated elsewhere. The local entity requirements depend on the model, and we set them out in the written scope.
Which payment methods are covered?
M-Pesa, e-Mola, mKesh and Visa/Mastercard through one integration, plus payouts to mobile wallets and bank accounts.
Is there a sandbox before we commit?
Yes. Partners get sandbox keys and full API documentation so the technical fit is proven before any commercial commitment.
